Russian companies plan to expand in Vietnam

Russian companies want to move to more parts of Vietnam, one of the most promising markets in Asia, they said at the Vietbeauty & Cosmobeauté Vietnam 2022 event in Ho Chi Minh City.

Aleksey Solomatin of the state export support center in Moscow said the nine participating Russian firms specialize in health and beauty products. They want to look for partners and agents in Vietnam.

According to Aleksey, the presented goods are popular in Russia, and many Vietnamese living there send them as gifts to their relatives back home.

Since Russia and Vietnam have friendly relations, he suggested that both sides increase trade not only in cosmetics, but also in food and pharmaceuticals.

Tran Van Lam, director of the consulting and trading company Dinh Phong, visited the Russian counters and got acquainted with their products and decided to sign a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on cooperation with Silcamed for the import and distribution of dental products in Vietnam.

Lam said that after signing the Memorandum of Understanding, his company will discuss the procedures for importing products as soon as possible. They will be sold in supermarkets, online stores and convenience stores.
